¶ Introduction
Art can capture some of the most amazing things, especially times when we get completely bonkers! We wish to call on you all again for our second Week of Madness celebrations. Help us host another exhibition so that our members can show off their talents and feelings as we move into our third year.
¶ Where are the details!
It is time for us to throw caution to the wind and invite you to show us what you feel captures “The Madness of Tall Tails”. We want as many contributions as possible so we have split the event into two parts:
Open submission: where all the pictures will be displayed at the Exhibit and we all can enjoy the great and creative work of everyone.
Art Competition: We encourage you to enter the picture into the actual competition as well.
The awards for the competition will be split into two sections, the People's Choice and Judges Choice competitions.
The exhibits will be available from day one of Week of Madness, Monday the 30th of May until the day of the Ceremony, Sunday the 5th of July. The public Vote will end at 8:00 AM SLT and the ceremony will start at 12 PM SLT. We have gone all classic with a Chicago Gallery styled building to display the artwork. Drop by and see where your art will end up on display! All Artwork will be displayed there and the ones who enter the completion are marked with a VOTE button. We're also putting the winners of the previous Week of Madness Art Competition on display to get your creative juices flowing, but be aware these are not a part of the current competition.
¶ How Can I Take Part?

We are happy that you are interested in joining the exhibit! Please fill out the form below in a notecard and attach a picture you would like to submit (make sure it's Full Perm!) and drop it in the Red Mailbox at the Barn at Tall Tails Meadow, pictured above.

¶ What Will Happen at the Event
As you may have noted, the Exhibit will be part of the Week of Madness, and to give the artists a chance to show off there art, they will be available for viewing and voting a few days before the event.
¶ People's Choice
Starting on Monday, 30/05/2022, all the artwork submitted to the competition will be on display at the art gallery on the Week of Madness Plaza, everyone is welcome to come and look and voting will be open for all. Every person will be given 3 votes that they can give to any image that they wish. Each vote is worth a different amount of points.
Vote 1= 3 Points
Vote 2 = 2 Points
Vote 3 = 1 Point
Please note that once you have voted you can not remove your vote, so be sure you are happy with your choice before confirming the vote. If you wish to change your vote you must contact Lexi or Eesoov. A change of vote will only be done under very exceptional circumstances.
Also, all votes while anonymous to the public are monitored by the event supervisors. Any suspicious activity will be dealt with firmly.
The result of the vote will be announced during the main event on 05/06/2022 by Eesoov.

Judges Choice
The Judges Choice award will be the focus of the main event of the Art Exhibit & Competition. During the main event, the public will have the last chance to view and vote for the art on display, but it will also be the time that the unidentified judges will be out to view and select their favourite piece of art at the event.
There will be three judges, all of whom will be unknown to the public, and will they will also have three votes to distribute among the art just like the rest. The difference is that their top pick for the event will be awarded with a Judges Choice trophy.
Once the judges have made their choices, all awards will be handed out and the event will come to a close.
¶ What Are the Rules (Wait there are rules!)
Tall Tails is unique to all of us and we really like to hear what you feel about our home. We hope the theme of this event 'Madness' will show us a lighthearted look at a place we all hold so dear. Be it the ponyplay, the insanity of the trainers, the ongoing war between the Ponizei and the Ponifia or the craziness that seem to occur once in a while. We want to know just what makes this place so unique. For you.
If you wish to display a piece of art which is not a picture, then please speak with Lexi or Eesoov.
The criteria for judging a picture will be equally weighed between how well the picture relates to the current theme, creativity and techniques applied. Obviously we cannot dictate how the group as a whole will vote.

Tiny Terrors
Tall Tails is full of wacky and wonderful creatures who seek to cause havoc in our otherwise peaceful sim. Perhaps one of the best-known examples is the stoat! These tiny terrors are best known for scrambling around in people's hair, chittering at working ponies and stealing our beloved Franceball! Gasp!

The Day the TT Madness Began
This picture was taken on the very first day of Tall Tails, when our shared home was nothing more than a square island with some pillows and a pile of friends that shared a mad dream. All the ensuing madness can be blamed on that very day. And Axelle. Always blame Axelle.

Pony Shenanigans
It is literally something I've done at TT and seen done at TT. A pony driving a cart with a non pony pulling, It's also got a Ponizei chase as we all know Axelle loves to chase down carts~ So the combination of Silly Poneko causing mayhem and high speed cart chases felt like a perfect embodiment of TT Madness

Ari Goes Boom!
Boom! The cannon fires, and the pony flies threw the air. I believe that this captures the madness of Tall Tails with the silliness that ensues, from the Boom! Achievement to just shooting ponies from the cannon for fun. It's one of the iconic landmarks of Tall Tails.

Signs that "drive" people into madness
There's a bunch of crazy people here, and a bunch of crazy things all over the sim. And I've never had a bad experience here...... except for one thing.... the signs....
Utter madness when someone starts turning right at an round-a-bout, and someone says that's the wrong way? XP Totally untrue! The right turn is the right way! (At least in Canada)
I found this small thing to be crazy, and such a point of debate for everyone ever, even at other sims, so I love that TT actually posted the way to do it *cough* according to them ;3 ♥
It makes me laugh each time, and makes me shake my head all at the same time. I think that describes TT and everyone here... great laughs while shaking your head at their silliness.

Barking Mad
Before coming to Tall tails, i use to be a sane normal person, but now i have gone dog mad, loving everything about them from actual dogs to puppy girls, so much that i see them everywhere now.
