Flower Dressage is a classic Ponyplay activity in Second Life, known for its intricate patterns and disciplined movements. It involves ponies performing choreographed routines in a circular formation, often resembling the petals of a flower. This activity has evolved over time, with updated rules and verions, but it remains a beloved tradition among Ponyplay enthusiasts.
The purpose of this event is to present all the different disciplines that have evolved around the initial flower's set of rules!
On the 29th of May at 12PM SLT at the training platform This special event will be dedicated to exploring and celebrating the evolution of Flower Dressage. Whether you are a seasoned participant or a curious spectator, join us as ponies and trainers showcase their skills.
We warmly invite volunteer ponies to register for the demonstrations. After each demo, there will be time for questions, and ponies interested in giving it a try will have the opportunity to do so. All participating ponies will receive a commemorative trophy in recognition of their performance.
Below is a brief overview of the various styles of Flower Dressage featured in the showcase. Each category will include an introduction to the discipline, followed by demonstrations with one or more ponies.

An evolution of classic flower, modern took off rapidly and quickly became the most studied version of flower. Guided by precise rules, ponies perform intricate patterns, ensuring smooth transitions, directional control, and optimized paths. Classic Flower Dressage is based on the original set of rules established by Dewia (Biatch.Adamczyk). Over the years, these rules have been subject to varying interpretations, largely due to ambiguities in the original rules. To clarify and standardize the practice, Stable Mistresses of Frilly Filly Farm (Ashley K & Belle K) have developed a comprehensive guide based on those original principles.

This alternative of flower dressage consists in the trainer guiding the pony around the field with whip signals. Are you a lazy pony, or a trainer looking to prove they know their craft? Then have a go at Crack Flower Dressage! Both modern and classic flower dressage patterns can be performed with this technique. For the restriction addicts out there, it is also possible for both the pony and the trainer to perform it blind!

Have you ever wondered what it would look like if reality as you know it collapsed while performing a flower dressage pattern? With the introduction of shuffle flower dressage, the need to wonder is no more! This Flower Dressage alternative uses a flower field controlled by the trainer. On command, the trainer is able to swap the letters around to force the pony to adapt on the go. Modern and Classic Flower Dressage can be practiced on this field, both with or without vision!

Flower dressage is quite a skill to master, but for those that have finished their patterns blind, 50 letters in length, Sin has prepared a far more difficult challenge. With not just 8 but 16 letters of the alphabet, the trainer can spell more words and the pony brain can sizzle as it runs hot. Sinful V1 as it is called is derived from the modern flower dressage rules and only has small additions to keep the trainers and ponies... mostly... sane. V2…..is worse!
