¶ Introduction
Polo within SecondLife is different to what you might expect when you see it done in real life. While the prospect of riding my teammates on their back while fighting for the ball on the pitch is amusing, it sadly does not translate very well inside of SecondLife. Instead, over years of practice and tournaments Polo has become a refined sport within SecondLife, and with that in mind we wanted to host a cup as part of our anniversary celebrations at Tall Tails.
While we only have a few polo players at our stable, we want to extend the offer to join our small tournament to anybody else who wishes to join us. We will follow the standard Classic rules as set out within the CPL but you are able to form your teams with whomever you like, so long as the maximum players per team is four.
¶ When & Where Is It Happening?
The event will be taking place on Sunday 25/05/2025 at 11AM SLT, during the Week of Madness at Tall Tails. We will be using the central platform at the Sky Training Platforms, there will be a Single Stadium and Double Stadium setup ready within the rezzer found here. Please feel free to come and test the stadiums before hand if you wish to get some practice in.

Events like the Madness Cup could not run without the help of the referees who organize, officiate and record the games. This role is one of the most important during the event, so a big thanks goes out to this years referees!
