¶ What is the ProAm Cup?
Polo Leagues and Cups can be a very daunting thing to take part in within the SecondLife ponyplay community. Due to their nature, they are often highly competitive and contain teams which are very experienced in the sport. They can put a lot of new players off from taking part, as it takes a special kind of dedication and masochism to jump in head first knowing you will get beaten badly.
With that in mind, back in 2021 we created a cup at Tall Tails that would allow some of our ponies and Trainers to get a taste of what a real Polo Cup feels like, with the hopes that maybe they will catch the Polo bug and start to play it more in the future. Who knows… maybe some new CPL ponies will be born here?
The ProAm Cup is a randomized tournament. This means that players sign up to take part in the tournament and on the day of the games the teams will be created at random by placing one Amateur player with one Professional player.
